For Kids on the Go

These DIY home made snack kits are a dry mix and can be used to make nutritious snacks for your kids at home or on the go in less than 5 minutes. It's great fun for the kids and little clean up after!!

Ingredients

  • Organic Dried Coconut (50%) Seeds (47% [Pumpkin, Chia, Linseed, Sunflower], Organic orange essence (1%), monk fruit extract (0.1%)
  • Formulated without nuts but may contain traces of tree nuts and peanuts.
  • Made in NZ from local & imported ingredients.
  1. Wash hands. Add an over ripe banana (100g) to a bowl. Mash up your banana with a fork until looks like puree.
  2. Add the Nutra-licious dry mix and mix well until combined and a dough like texture.
    If mixture is a bit wet due a larger banana, let sit for 10mins and the excess moisture will absorbed.
  3. Roll into balls or your favourite shape. They are ready to eat straight away! Or keep in the fridge for later. The freeze brilliantly. 

Get playful with the kids and make into any shape you want. Our kids love making them into slices by pressing the mixture into a loaf tin lined with plastic wrap, press mixture into it and let set in freezer for 5mins or fridge 20mins. Then decorate and slice up.  Get creative and add the ingredients you and your kids want to eat (see below for some ideas).
